Wow Jerry, I missed this one somehow. Another amazing story, thankful that Rosemary shared it with you and that Dr. Shane was part of the rescue for this amazing '67 Shelby. Shane is a good man, he has been very good to me, always ready to share his knowledge and his expertise in the Shelby world. I almost purchased his 1971 Royal Maroon Mustang convertible that you can see inside his garage/shop early in this video, it was a Katrina rescue. I'm still kicking myself for not closing that deal.... Kudos to you, Rosemary, her husband & Shane for giving us this little slice of video GOLD... it's so good!

Yeah, so always hate when somebody uses sealer. They're in too much of a damn hurry,, Epoxy, mix it, let it dry for days, Then go for your block sanding before paint,, Just like the guys at Graveyard Cars....

“I’m going to mask off the roof to protect it from the overspray of the glue because this glue will actually eat into the paint”. Literally the next scene: “What’s the purpose of masking this off?” “To protect the paint from overspray of the glue because it will eat into the paint”. 😂😂😂 Anyway, beautiful car. It’s been a great series of videos thus far.

I'm not a GM guy at all. But, I can certainly appreciate the woman's sacrifice. She is giving a loved family member new life. To give a new family new members. I hope that my kids feel this love after I'm gone. If they don't. I hope they find someone who'll love them as much as I did.

I knew this was going to be a GREAT! video when he tried to put that jaw puller on the steering wheel. I ran and grabbed a beer in anticipation of him trying to start the car without rotating the cylinders with a breaker bar. ..... very disappointed. Clearly a Jaw puller is a tool for the dentists office and in all fairness the package should say "steering" wheel puller in bold. Otherwise somebody might have tried to use it on that flat tire.

Good for this guy! Wrench away! “Show quality” is a matter of perspective. The car is not some rare optioned 1 of 1 original one owner low mileage unicorn. It’s the perfect car for someone to start with. It’s scratched, dented, painted the wrong color and has the wrong interior in it, yet it is not some pos that will leave a guy defeated two months later.

I believe it's mostly jealousy when people are negatively commenting. They wish they had this car to get going in nearly already show condition. True gem. Usually people work there way up to get to this point with a classic car going through quite a bit to get there. Thats where the jealousy comes in. Good find and good luck.

DO NOT use glass fuel filters! They are dangerous and leak and will cause a fire. My 1st Camaro was a 1968 Z/28 that I purchased in 1974 for $3,000. A friend of mine owns it today. From there the next ones were 1971, new 1977, new 1978, new 1980. All 4 speeds. Current one I bought in ‘81 from the original owner is a 1970 Z/28 4 spd.

Do 67/68 Shelby's not have the line in the middle of the rear window like a normal fastback does? I didn't see one in this car. Both my 67 and 68 fastbacks have the line in the back window.
